According to a
Washington Post news article, the
Crocs shoe company may be nearing an end, with millions of dollars in debt. Given only until the end of September to pay off its debt, the company has cut thousands of jobs and is stuck with a surplus supply of shoes. "The company's toast," claims Damon Vickers, an investment fund manager.
Personally, I've never fallen for the Crocs trend because I didn't like their style. However, if there are any parents out there whose kids would be disappointed if the Crocs were no longer available,
Polliwalks are a cute alternative.

BabyBix Blog is giving away a free pair of Polliwalks shoes, which are similar in style to Crocs with a few pros. These machine-washable shoes have a molded footbed with a deeper heel and built-in arch support and a turned-up toe edge that helps prevent running kids from tripping over their shoes.
The Polliwalks Giveaway ends August 5, 2009, so check it out!
