Chrome's New Shoe Releases Available Now
Chrome Bags, a company best known for having the most durable messenger bags, has released a line of brand new footwear made specifically for bike messengers and those looking for tough urban streetwear.
Made of weatherproof material, reinforced nylon, glass fiber, and polyurethane with vulcanized construction, there is no doubt that Chrome's Red Sole Line of urban shoes will live up to the rugged street-tested and city-proof standards their messenger bags have set over the past 14 years. Each shoe features a reflective heel patch, a small lip at the front for slipping your feet easily into toe straps, a stiffened sole to increase pedal stroke leverage, reinforced exterior paneling, sleek metal eyelets and lace-ends, and heel slam pads for optimal heel cushion and high impact absorption.

The four styles of Chrome shoes include the low-rise Kursk, the mid-rise Midway, the high-top Saipan, and the Chucka-inspired Arnhem.

The Chrome Kursk is a low cut, rubber-toed, Converse-like cordura street shoe with the most durable construction you can find. Available in black, grey, and brown, you can buy these shoes for $70.

The Chrome Midway is a fusion of durable cordura and stylish suede that hits below the ankle bone. These shoes are also available in black, grey, and brown for $90.

The Chrome Saipan corduroy high-tops lace up snug and also zip down the side so you don't have to mess with your laces every time. Available in black and grey, these shoes are priced at $80.

The Chrome Arnhem ankle-high boot is clean, minimal, and made from the most durable black suede. At $90, they are currently only available in black.
Also for a limited time, if you order by August 31, 2009, you can get free shipping and a free Chrome water bottle on domestic orders!
